Ontrack recently published its Top 10 Data Loss Disasters of 2006, which is a complete riot. The stories include a telecom worker who dropped his laptop out a helicopter, a leaking toiletries bag that shampooed a laptop, an old banana that seeped into an external hard drive, and someone who took WD40 to a squeaky drive.
