Regular readers probably know I’m against hosted IP PBXs like Aptela, Packet8, and Vocalocity due to their high total cost of ownership (TCO) among other problems.
I’ve illustrated this point with specific examples but finally realized an online TCO calculator is needed. Using our calculators you can see the TCO of hosted IP PBXs vs. IP PBXs like Talkswitch and Allworx.
The Allworx calculator is best suited for small businesses looking for higher end functionality for offices up to 150 extensions, while Talkswitch is a value system best suited for businesses 4 – 32 extensions.
